Automated tests in CI

"Do you have vending machines in CICD?" - surely you know this or a similar question. CICD is almost the Holy Grail in the area of QA. Everyone in the project talks about it and few people can configure, use and draw conclusions from the results. And only tests in CI will bring real benefits from automation. If you have the desire and experience in testing, you have the opportunity to understand this area with us. During the training you will learn the necessary theory and use the most popular tools GitHub Actions and Jenkins to run Unit, Selenium, Cypress, API tests using Docker containerization.

Problem -> solution

Live training is the solution to the most common problems in learning automation

The setup scares me

Often "setting the environment" from 0 is difficult, especially since it is the first step. Often, following a tutorial on the Internet, we come to the "hmm, it's not working for me" wall. And we do not apply for job advertisements that mention the implementation of automation from the beginning. That is why it is worth saving time and nerves and going through these beginnings with a trainer.

Purpose of the training

    The aim of the training is to learn about the integration of automated tests in CI processes. Understanding the configuration and the necessary theory so that the Participant, regardless of the tool, has an easier and conscious start in working with CI and automation.
    The leading tool during the training is the very popular GitHub Actions and the use of Docker containerization. Jenkins will also be configured for comparison.
    Some theory is essential, but practice and setup is the best learning. Unit, Selenium, Cypress and API tests will be run.
