Don't fall behind in 2021. Test Automation. Why is it worth it?
We do not hide that QA salary is one of the main motivators to learn automation.
Test automation is also:
dynamic career development of QA Engineer
programming skills
flexibility in the selection of the project
job stability as a QA Engineer
more interesting, less monotonous work
foreign projects
work from anywhere on Earth. Asia? Beach or peace in the mountains?
you follow the trends of QA and the IT industry
The investment in science will pay for itself quickly.
Why CanTest IT bets on Cypress in 2021 ?
Cypress has a self-explanatory, intuitive syntax, even for people with no programming experience. The documentation is simple, complete and friendly. Cypress tests are written in JavaScript, thanks why the entry threshold is lower than for other languages like Java. This also makes it easier to get help from fellow front-end developers. N iewielu QA has experience with Cypress, therefore, in conjunction with the growing popularity of this tool to gain an advantage in the job market. Cypress has no complicated configuration and simple, readable API. We also know from experience that programmers are eager to use it. It speaks for itself.

Live training with an experienced trainer or self-study?
CanTest IT always encourages self-study. This is the essence of development in the IT industry. However, training is an accelerator of this development. It helps to gain a solid foundation and get through the most difficult stage - the beginning of learning with automation. We know from experience how hard it is to motivate yourself, collect the necessary pieces of the puzzle and put them together into a meaningful whole. One tutorial is not enough. The time during which knowledge is passed on to you during the training is probably similar to the time spent on self-reaserch and choosing the course to be completed. Nobody will become a Qa expert after two weeks of learning, however, solid foundations and proven knowledge facilitate further development.
Hello World
Trust the experience of older IT colleagues and take the shortest path.
Training: Basics and practical use of Cypress and JavaScript in automated tests
Our training is 20 hours of intensive work with an online trainer. We teach from scratch and we do not require programming knowledge. We are goal-oriented - writing automated tests. We use applications running locally on the participant's computer, because we want to feel comfortable in working with a complex programming environment after the training.
Opis szkolenia
The key elements of the training are:
working with the repository
use of the Node Package Manager
local launch of a dedicated front-end
local launch of the back-end from the API
working with API and CRUD testing
creating and executing automated tests
use of back-end mock-up tests
work with Google Chrome development tools
using Cypress documentation

Below is an overview of the training development environment. We have developed the program on the basis of experience in commercial IT projects. We do not focus on academic knowledge - practice and experience as a QA count.
Who is the target of the training?
What skills will you get?
People who have experience in manual testing.
You just want to enter the world of QA
and you wonder if you can do it? Write to us. We are happy to talk.
knowledge and understanding of the Cypress tool
ability to create tests using Cypress and Javascript
ability to test CRUD using API with back-end mock-up
ability to work independently with Cypress documentation
We train online in weekend formula:
Day 1
4h
Thursday
Day 2
8h
Saturday
Day 3
8h
Sunday
Popular weekend trainings are not enough time and too much material at once to effectively assimilate this knowledge. That is why we train in the 4h x 8h x 8h formula, which will allow you to comfortably participate in the course, and most importantly - not overwhelm you with the amount of knowledge at once. On the first day, we focus on configuring the local development environment including a dedicated application, you will also write your first tests in Cypress. After Friday's break, you'll be prepared to automate more advanced tests.
